STOP PRESS AREA:
Yarra Valley Art Show 2026
The Yarra Valley Art Show has been an outstanding success.
On behalf of the Lions Club of Park Orchards, we extend our sincere thanks to all project sponsors—particularly our four major partners: Mercedes-Benz Ringwood, Warrandyte Community Bank, The Farm winery, and Manningham Community Grants—for their generous support. Every benchmark set for the show was met with resounding success.
We also extend special thanks to Gallery 247 and Stephen Lake; without their invaluable support, the event would not have achieved its success.
Attendance was exceptionally strong, particularly over the weekend, with patron visitation exceeding expectations. More than 50 artworks were sold—placing the exhibition at the high end of sales-to-exhibit ratios.
We have received widespread praise from patrons, artists, judges, and sponsors alike, recognising the professionalism, atmosphere, and quality of what was our inaugural art show.
The Best in Show Award was presented to Brett Pierce for his outstanding work South Beach Mount Martha. The People’s Choice Award was awarded to Alison Clark for Quietly From The Shadows, which also received a High Commendation.
In total, eight artworks received major awards, with a further 14 earning High Commendations from our judges, as detailed in the table below.

We are Lions......
Being a member of a friendly club that is involved with the community, we have widened our horizons and provided considerable personal development and an understanding of our local area and community. While we give a slice of our spare time to welfare and the community, all of us have received back in kind, far more than the efforts we put into our Lions work. With life long friendships developed through Lions, our club is a mix of all ages and interests.
