About the Car Rally and Show & Shine

Organised by the Lions Club of Park Orchards with the major beneficiaries being Respite Camps for kids with special needs and their families and also humanitarian support through the Lions Clubs International Foundation for refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine.
The event will be held on Sunday 26th February 2023. This is a community event which is designed to be enjoyed by everyone in the family. It is open to all cars and is not a race, but more of an “observation run” with fun and cryptic clues. It will finish at a secret venue, with plenty of great activities for the whole family. The event will implement Covid Safe processes and we will be asking competitors, family and friends to follow these processes. A 'Show & Shine' display of older cars to complete the day. There will be food available at the destination from 12 noon or you can bring your own picnic. Wine will be available but also feel free to BYO. We also suggest you bring some chairs or rug as seating is limited. If you have not reserved a marquee you may wish to bring your own marquee or a beach umbrella. Prizes, Awards and Trophies at about 1.30pm. Please Note: In the event of a Total Fire Ban, for the safety of our participants, the Car Rally will be cancelled. |
